In 2020, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/public.wmo.int\/en\/media\/press-release\/new-climate-predictions-assess-global-temperatures-coming-five-years\">WMO<\/a>\u00a0warned that global mean temperature might exceed 1.5 \u00b0C already by 2024.
