Participants:

Large export companies in the Nordics see a clear connection between climate action and profitability, since it gives strategic possibilities to create new business opportunities, a more attractive brand and reduced costs, according to a report from April this year. The companies want policies to be more ambitious and are also looking to scale up their initiatives to influence strategies on a global level.

  • How can business contribute to realize the target of 1.5 degrees?
  • How progressive are the Nordics in the climate action in a global context?
  • How can the Nordics spread its solutions for a faster global transition?
  • Why do Nordic businesses see climate action as a vital business strategy?

The Haga Initiative is a business network that wants to see a profitable business sector without climate impact. The 15 member companies have together set the target of reaching net-zero emissions by 2030. Read more about our commitments here.
