The potential for a more ambitious circular economy in the Nordic Region is significant. However, the circular transition faces many barriers and progress has so far been very limited. One key challenge is that many of the positive impacts of the circular transition haven´t been properly defined or assessed. In this webinar the Haga Initiative will launch a report, where we argue that by making visible the many co-benefits of circularity, policy makers and businesses are more likely to advance their efforts and accelerate the transition towards a more circular economy.

Topics for discussion:

  • How can we best bring leverage the co-benefits (economic, environmental, social and others) that circular economy provides?
  • How can the business sector’s role be strengthened in this regard?
  • What are the most urgent areas for cooperation from a Nordic perspective?
