Svenska Retursystem is the smart cycle for our food and was established in 1997. The business model is completely circular, where the same boxes and pallets are used again and again by all actors in the food industry.

The pallets and boxes have a lifespan of about 15 years. They are always repaired if possible, but if a box can no longer be used, the plastic is ground down and used in the manufacture of new boxes. Since its inception, the system has replaced as much as 2 billion disposable packaging.
