Did you know that farmers are probably the best in Sweden at recycling plastic? As much as 90 per cent of all silage plastic is recycled every year, and in some years up to 100%. Recycling materials is one of the Farm Initiative’s 100 initiatives to reduce the farms’ climate impact and increase the environmental benefits for Swedish meat. The farm initiative is HKScan Sweden’s sustainability investment on the farm in the past to make a real difference and reduce the climate impact all the way from farm to fork.
