In a project together with Axfoundation and SLU, just to mention a few, Axfood has launched the first green rainbow salmon in Sweden, which can be found in shops and restaurants. Instead of consuming soya and wild-caught fish, the rainbow salmon has had a circular feed of mainly insects, which in turn have been fed food waste. By using more waste streams, this type of activity can be scaled up and make seafood production more sustainable.
