By selling fresh bread in the evening and lowering the price of bread with short dates, Willys will reduce food waste further. Last year, more than 100 tonnes were saved from being thrown away. A new concept is now being launched which sells in-store baked break with new furnishings, green bags and clear price reduction labels on shelves aimed to reduce food waste.
