Leftover construction products are no longer waste at JM. Through agreements with companies and organizations that sell used building materials, JM’s surplus of plasterboard, baseboards and door frames is given new life in other houses. JM works continuously to improve the orders for building materials and materials for its housing projects so that there will be as little left over as possible when the house is completed. But there will still be some surplus material. If the products can continue to be used as products, the planet’s resources will be saved and emissions reduced. JM has therefore signed agreements with some companies and organizations that sell recycled products. The companies pick up leftover material at JM’s construction sites, they get it for free in exchange for picking it up for free. JM gets a slightly lower waste cost as well as the satisfaction that new and fully functioning construction products are used in a sustainable way.
