Everyone can borrow, regardless of age, gender, socio-economic status, background, physical conditions or previous habits. Fritidsbanken makes it possible to try hundreds of different activities completely free of charge, which lowers the threshold for physical activity. There are close to half a million gadgets in stock that has been donated by private individuals, associations and companies. Since all equipment is reused, it contributes to a reduced climate impact. According to a study, Fritidsbanken’s operations have the potential to reduce the climate impact by 70% compared to a linear model. This corresponds to 815 tonnes of CO2 equivalents.
