The report shows that many large European companies see sustainability and the climate transition as a competitive advantage, not merely as a regulatory requirement. By analyzing sustainability reports from around 40 companies across Europe, the Haga Initiative identifies five main ways in which sustainability efforts strengthen business performance: market-driven growth, innovation, energy savings for customers, increased resilience, and efficiency improvements and cost savings.
