HKScan’s collaboration with Bower – A smart app where consumers can recycle all packaging with a barcode and be rewarded. By scanning the packaging, going to their recycling location, checking in, and returning it, more consumers are encouraged to choose to recycle their packaging.

Through a points system based on their packaging returns, the return process opens up for offers and benefits. So far, 73 million packages have been collected via scanning in the app, saving 3 million kg of carbon dioxide.
