Between May 26th-27th, EAT Stockholm Food Forum gathered global leaders from the worlds of science, politics and business to share and discuss challenges and opportunities linking food, health and sustainability together. How are we to feed 9 billion people without ruining our planet? And what business possibilities exist in the context of food and sustainability?
EAT Stockholm Food Forum views the meeting between science, politics and business as essential in defining problem areas as well as finding solutions that are commercially viable. The discussions surrounded the connection between health, food and sustainability – three topics that are widely discussed but very seldom in the same context.
EAT is initiated and owned by the Stordalen Foundation with Stockholm Resilience Centre as main academic partner. The conference is thought to become a recurring event focusing on solutions, using past and functioning solutions as inspiration.
The Haga Initiative was a strategic partner to the EAT Stockholm Food Forum.
